A Note From Dr. Tester
After 22 wonderful years in ophthalmology, I will be retiring from my role as Co-President of Evergreen Eye Center, effective August 13, 2026. This decision comes with a heavy heart and mixed emotions. It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to serve as your ophthalmologist, and your trust and loyalty have meant more than I can fully express.
I take great comfort in knowing your care is in excellent hands. I have never worked with a more talented team of surgeons, optometrists, managers, and clinical staff. Evergreen is a strong, resilient organization, and your care will continue seamlessly with physicians who have my complete trust and deepest respect.
This was not an easy decision. I deeply value caring for patients and performing surgery, and I will miss this work greatly. However, as life’s seasons evolve, a series of small shifts has guided me toward the next chapter. I carry with me many cherished memories of caring for your vision and eye health, and I wish you continued clear sight, vibrant health, happiness, and peace.

Your records will be retained for a minimum of 10 years from the date of your last visit, in accordance with Washington state guidelines. There is no cost to transfer your records to another provider. If you would like to request access to your records, you may do so by contacting us at the information above or through our patient portal.
