Eye Care Services
Cataract Surgery
Cataracts cause clouding of the eye’s natural lens, leading to blurred vision and difficulty with daily activities. At Evergreen Eye Center, we offer advanced cataract surgery utilizing state-of-the-art technology to remove the cloudy lens and replace it with a clear, artificial intraocular lens (IOL). Our personalized approach ensures optimal visual outcomes, helping you regain clear vision and improve your quality of life.
LASIK
LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis) is a popular refractive surgery that corrects nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Our experienced surgeons at Evergreen Eye Center use precise laser technology to reshape the cornea, reducing or eliminating the need for glasses or contact lenses. We conduct thorough evaluations to determine if you’re a suitable candidate for LASIK, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
Refractive Lens Exchange
Refractive Lens Exchange is an alternative to LASIK for patients with presbyopia or high refractive errors. This procedure involves replacing the eye’s natural lens with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL) to improve vision. RLE can reduce dependence on glasses and prevent the development of cataracts in the future. Our team will assess your eye health to determine if RLE is the right option for you.
EVO ICL
The EVO Implantable Collamer® Lens (ICL) is a vision correction option for patients with moderate to severe nearsightedness, especially those who may not be candidates for LASIK. This biocompatible lens is implanted behind the iris, offering sharp, clear vision without altering the corneal tissue. EVO ICL is removable and provides excellent night vision and UV protection.
Dry Eyes
Dry Eye Syndrome occurs when your eyes don’t produce enough tears or the right quality of tears, leading to discomfort and vision issues. At Evergreen Eye Center, we diagnose the underlying causes of dry eyes and offer personalized treatment plans, including artificial tears, prescription medications, and advanced therapies to restore tear film balance and alleviate symptoms.
Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve, often due to elevated intraocular pressure, and can lead to vision loss if untreated. We provide comprehensive glaucoma care, including early detection through regular screenings, medical management with eye drops or oral medications, and surgical interventions like laser therapy to preserve your vision.
Retinal Care
The retina is crucial for processing visual information. Our retinal specialists manage conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments. Using advanced diagnostic tools and treatments, including intravitreal injections and laser therapy, we aim to protect and preserve your retinal health and overall vision.
Corneal Crosslinking
Corneal Crosslinking is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat keratoconus, a condition where the cornea thins and bulges outward. The treatment strengthens corneal tissue by applying riboflavin (vitamin B2) drops and ultraviolet light, halting the progression of the disease and improving corneal stability.
Botox
Botox injections are not only used for cosmetic purposes but also for treating certain eye conditions like blepharospasm (involuntary eyelid twitching) and strabismus (crossed eyes). Our trained specialists administer Botox to relax targeted muscles, providing relief from symptoms and improving ocular function.
Eyelid Surgery
Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, addresses drooping eyelids that can impair vision or cause a tired appearance. Our oculoplastic surgeons perform this procedure to remove excess skin and fat, enhancing both visual function and aesthetic appeal. We ensure a personalized approach for natural-looking results.
Diabetic Eye Conditions
Diabetes can lead to several eye complications, including diabetic retinopathy and macular edema. Regular eye examinations are crucial for early detection and management. Our team offers comprehensive care, utilizing advanced imaging and treatments to prevent vision loss and maintain ocular health in diabetic patients.
