Celebrating Dr. Tester’s Retirement After 22 Years at Evergreen Eye Center

A Note From Dr. Tester

After 22 wonderful years in ophthalmology, I will be retiring from my role as Co-President of Evergreen Eye
Center, effective August 13, 2026. This decision comes with a heavy heart and mixed emotions. It has been
one of the greatest privileges of my life to serve as your ophthalmologist, and your trust and loyalty have
meant more than I can fully express.

I take great comfort in knowing your care is in excellent hands. I have never worked with a more talented team
of surgeons, optometrists, managers, and clinical staff. Evergreen is a strong, resilient organization, and your
care will continue seamlessly with physicians who have my complete trust and deepest respect.

This was not an easy decision. I deeply value caring for patients and performing surgery, and I will miss this
work greatly. However, as life’s seasons evolve, a series of small shifts has guided me toward the next
chapter. I carry with me many cherished memories of caring for your vision and eye health, and I wish you
continued clear sight, vibrant health, happiness, and peace.
